As part of the market intelligence team, the Junior Market Analyst will be responsible for 5 main missions:1- Consolidate and foster the development of the existing database through periodic monitoring and updates of a range of media markets including:- TV distribution and OTT video- Telecommunications- Cinema, video games and sports - Radio, music and podcasts- Connected devices- TV and broadband technologies
The mission includes the collection and verification of data from official financial reports, databases, and market sources. It also requires ongoing monitoring of new products and services of TMT companies, sustained communications with industry experts and the creation of modelling files and additional methods to ensure consistent, reliable and client-focused datasets.
2- Initiate and carry out new projects to extend the data coverage to additional industries:
- Implement additional data collection through various methods such as scrapings or APIs, in autonomy or in collaboration with internal research and data teams
- Prepare the overall delivery of new dashboards to clients and prospects and design insightful data visualizations
4- Provide comprehensive data analysis and share findings with the industry through articles and commentaries highlighting market developments
5- Engage in the organisation of digital and on-site conferences by supporting guests’ recruitment, interviewing speakers, and potentially preparing and moderating panel discussions
Requisitos
- Strong interest in media, video content and new technologies with existing experiences in media, entertainment and telecoms- Curious, rigorous and self-driven with strong analytical skills- Highly organised with an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Excel and Google’s Office suite- Knowledge of data reporting and visualisation tools is a plus
- Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills
- Recent graduate or early-career professional
