About This Role: As a Quality Control Intern, you will embark on a meticulous journey, becoming an integral part of our quality control team. In this role, you will engage in a variety of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) activities, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our lab equipment through monthly verifications. Your meticulous eye for detail will contribute to the management and documentation of laboratory stock, including interactions with our warehouse to secure finished products for testing. This position not only allows you to play a critical role in maintaining our high standards for product release but also provides a unique opportunity to support routine physico-chemical testing, a cornerstone of our quality assurance process. By stepping into this role, you become a key player in our mission to deliver safe, effective products, all while fitting into the vibrant tapestry of our overall business operations. What You’ll Do:
  • Perform monthly verification of instruments and lab equipment to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
  • Manage laboratory stock, including reception, documentation, and appropriate storage of materials.
  • Interact with the warehouse team to pick up finished products for QC testing and ensure proper documentation and storage of quality retain samples.
  • Assist with the preparation of mobile phases and solutions required for supporting QC testing.
  • Conduct compendial methods testing, including pH measurement, appearance testing, osmolality measurement, and moisture content determination using Karl Fisher.
  • Perform High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Analysis for various tests such as uniformity of content, assay impurities, and related substances.
  • Execute dissolution tests and utilize UV Spectrophotometry, and SoloVPE for protein concentration determination.
  • Identify products using RAMAN and Infrared (IR) spectroscopy.
  • Participate in QC environmental monitoring, including monthly purified water monitoring and temperature-controlled chamber monitoring.
  • Assist in the generation of weekly data reviews, quarterly trend reviews, and yearly environmental monitoring reports.

Required Skills:
  • Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology.
  • A foundational understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • English advanced
· Availability to work from the Lab everyday per week at Av. Castañares 3222 CABA · Onsite · Time availability: 8am to 12pm or 13pm to 17pm.
