Regional Sales OverviewAs a Regional Sales Intern, you will support Business Development, Sales, and Marketing initiatives across the South Cone markets of Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay, working closely with acquirers, issuers, merchants, and other internal and external stakeholders. This role offers exposure to the execution of the Grow Acceptance strategy, the Merchant Sales & Acquirer (MS&A) business plan, and market marketing initiatives, in coordination with LAC and Global teams and aligned with Visa’s regional and global strategies.
Development Opportunity
This internship provides the opportunity to gain end-to-end exposure to Visa’s business, combining Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Acceptance. You will work on real business opportunities across multiple South Cone markets, gaining experience in client engagement, commercial strategy, marketing execution, market analysis, payments, and cross-functional collaboration.
All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Some job duties and projects could include, but are not limited to:• Support the implementation and execution of the MS&A and Grow Acceptance strategy across Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay, contributing to market development, client engagement, and business growth initiatives
• Assist Sales and Business Development teams in identifying commercial opportunities, improving Visa sales volume, profitability, acceptance, and client engagement through market analysis and actionable recommendations
• Analyze market, client, and competitive data to identify opportunities, developing insights to support sales and marketing plans
• Support planning and execution of client-specific initiatives, including product launches, strategic projects, commercial programs, and co-marketing activities
• Coordinate execution of marketing campaigns, activations, and brand initiatives in partnership with banks, acquirers, merchants, clients, and agencies
• Support initiatives to strengthen Visa's brand presence, visibility, and engagement across South Cone markets, ensuring consistency with regional and global guidelines
• Manage Visa-branded merchandise activities, including product selection, inventory monitoring, procurement coordination, and distribution for clients, partners, and events
• Support marketing operations and project management activities such as purchase orders, vendor coordination, payment tracking, budget monitoring, and documentation management
• Consolidate and track Sales and Marketing KPIs, preparing reports, presentations, and performance analyses to inform decision-making
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Consulting, Risk, Acceptance, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure successful execution of commercial, marketing, and client initiatives, contributing creative and innovative solutions to business opportunities and challenges

Requisitos
Basic Qualifications• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commercial Management, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between November 2027 and March 2028
• Interest in sales, marketing, business development, financial services, and the payments industry
• Foundational analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus
• Written and verbal English proficiency
• Ability to collaborate with multicultural, cross-functional teams while working independently on assigned tasks
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior internship experience or involvement in project coordination, marketing, or commercial roles is a plus
• Exposure or interest in sales, marketing, business development, or projects within related functions
• Familiarity or curiosity about the financial services and payments ecosystem, including competitors and market trends
• Analytical skills for interpreting data and translating insights into recommendations
• Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Experience organizing marketing campaigns, activations, events, or multi-team projects
• Familiarity with CRM tools, data analytics, or business intelligence platforms is a plus
• Technical aptitude and interest in understanding technology solutions and business implications
• Ability to communicate concepts clearly and concisely, including preparing stakeholder presentations
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, multicultural environment
• Proactive and curious mindset with a commitment to learning and contributing ideas
• Confidence in presenting and collaborating with stakeholders across different levels
